Program 1--> Country Heat: review and results, and a diversion into Holiday Teas
My first program I decided to was Country Heat (click here to check it out). I love county music and I knew I needed to switch it up from the weightlifting I was doing because there were no visible results any more. I loved Country Heat! It was so much fun, and the best part was I was seeing results in week one. And I mean hey, I couldn't do every move, but I knew as long as I kept moving (or do the previous move that I could do) that I would be alright. After a month of dancing, I lost 12 pounds and visually saw the
results everywhere. My legs are tighter, my stomach is flatter, and my
arms are smaller! I couldn't have asked for better results. I followed
the container meal fix program to a T. In conjunction with the Country Heat program and meal plan, I took CLA twice a day ( and continue to do so) and took a thermogenic in the morning. Thermogenics give you a noticeable energy boost and help burn internal calories. I took it for the first month of my fitness journey to help give me the extra boost.
This part may sound corny but, the Beachbody logo is so true. I decided. I committed. And I got success. I truly believe that as long as you have the dedication and people are around you, you can achieve any weight goals you want. Especially food wise, I used to have THE WORST will power, but now with their being so many healthy alternatives, it is so easy to stick with it.
Personal dieting tip: If it is not in your house, you wont eat it. I do not crave candy or chocolate, or anything bad
(especially if I have had a Shakeology for the day). But if it is in my house, I know I will eat it. Case in point:
Halloween. I had a really bad lapse when I bought Halloween Candy. If it wasn't there I wouldn't have eaten.
So in the end, if you want to eat right, get rid of anything that will tempt you and you will have greater success.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE pumpkin spice lattes... but not for 47 g sugar (thanks a lot Starbucks). I tried to make an at home stevia syrup and it was disgusting, but at least I tried.I already have an apple cider tea I really enjoy from Bigelow Teas and looked to see if they have pumpkin, and they DO ! So I just ordered pumpkin spice tea and it is good, and helps me get my fix in for pumpkin, especially if I add a little pumpkin spice creamer. The gingerbread tea and peppermint tea from Celestial is also amazing. It gets your holiday flavors in but without all the sugar.
Personal motivation tip: I know for me that when I see results I am more likely to stick with something.
If I don't notice results quickly, it is hard for me to keep with a new program. So a piece of advice
I would give someone in a similar situation I was in, is invest in an extra step that will help you see results quicker.
