PiYo Review and Results
Yesterday I finished my second Beachbody work out program called PiYo. I have never done a workout like this before. But let me tell you, I loved it! To me, I need to see or feel results, and with this workout I definitely both saw and felt the results. I could just tell with each passing week (the program was 2 months) that I was getting stronger ,in my legs and triceps especially, but I was also getting more and more flexible. I was pushing farther, going lower and I loved it. The trainer, Chalene Johnson, is intelligent and very motivational.
Each day with PiYo you are sculpting your body with no weights and no equipment. All you are using is your own body weight and determination. You push your self as far as you want to go. If you need to modify any thing, there is always a person to watch for that. Some days have some cardio aspects while some do not. There is a day for buns, core, legs, and then all over. The buns workout had me SORE!! Well, I could feel all the workouts but the buns really got me. I would totally recommend this work out to any one really. As long as you keep your nutrition in check, you would 100% feel or see (or both) the results.
My Personal Results ( results will vary per person).
- I just dropped 13 pounds from Country Heat that I was not expecting too much weight wise, but in the end I dropped another 5 pounds.
-My arm sizes stayed the same, but I could feel that my triceps were stronger.
-My thighs dropped about an inch and I could see how firm they were now, especially the outer thighs.
-My waits lost almost 2 inches and my hips lost about an inch!
There results were very visible in my stomach region and I couldn't be happier with this workout and the hard work I put in. I pushed it hard until the last minute and totally earned my final Pigeon and Child's Pose!
After 2 months of hard work ( a little Halloween give in) I treated my self to a Gingerbread Latte with real milk and sugar today =]
Back to work tomorrow with Hammer and Chisel !! I miss the weights!
