Kale Icecream....smoothie
I kid you not, this is one of the best tasting smoothies I have ever made. I would be very rude if I didn't share this with my readers and the public. I think some people get scared of green smoothies, but trust me..DON'T! You barley taste the greens if at all, and you are adding so much more nutrition to your shake with just one ingredient.
Smoothie Ingredients
*honest disclaimer* sometimes if I do not have the ingredients or like them I omit them, so do not feel like you have to follow this to a T.
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup raw cashews
- 1 cup of kale or add more if you'd like
- 2 bananas (fresh or frozen)
- 1/4 cup of dates (for sweetness)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups ice cubes
- 1/2 teaspoon minced ginger ( i just used ground).
- You could even throw in a vanilla or green berry shakeology
And then the fun noisy part... BLEND =]
I am telling you, I can not get enough of this delicious smoothie.
