One of my main beliefs about losing weight.. is to lose the scale. People can obsess over their weight and that can be so bad for your mental state. Even when you are doing everything right and being successful in your fitness journey, your weight is going to fluctuate. If you are living your life by the scale you are then giving up all control to it. Your motivation, confidence, and happiness will rise and fall with the numbers on the scale. Let's be honest, that is completely unfair to your self and your hard work. Weighing yourself once a week, every other week, or once a month depending on your goals and situation is not a bad thing but I think you should rely more by the senses test. If you look in the mirror and you're seeing results or you just feel more energetic and healthier, then you are doing great. Numbers are all relative and I mean in the end, if you weighed more but looked great, then who cares. Everyone's goals and definition of successful is relative to each person and you should define your fitness achievements by someone else' s.
