- popeye gets his energy from the Vitamin B in spinach
- it also has lots of minerals like calcium and iron, Vitamin C and E, and omega 3's
- Good source of CoQ10, which works with vitamin C and E to be an amazing antioxidant.
- studies shows it helps prevent types of cancers, cardiovascular disease, and even cataracts.
- eat both raw and cooked because raw you get more vitamin C and folates while eating raw gets you more caretonoids like beta-carotene.
- make sure you are washing your spinach well because it tends to hold sand
- I like spinach with my eggs or in an omellete
- Substitute spinach as your greens in a salad
- I cook up spinach with minced garlic, olive oil, and cayenne pepper
- put spinach in your sandwiches
