Tough Workout and Healthy Breakfast
I have been trying to mix cardio and weightlifting lately. It is the cardio that helps you burn more calories, but I really enjoy weight lifting and I want to also build more muscle. The more muscle and less fat you have, the more internal resting calories you burn. I have been doing cardio one day and weightlifting the next, or even doing workouts that combine both. Well yesterday I did the toughest workout I may have ever done. I say this because your heart rate is constantly up and you are also using weights. It combines upper and lower body, back, and abs. It is a complete whole body/ cardio work out. I thought I was going to puke at one point I was working out so hard. The workout can be found on the Beachbody On Demand service. It is from the Hammer and Chisel series and called "Chisel Cardio". Like I have said before, you can now get access to every beachbody work out program for $99 dollars, or pay $2.99 a week to have access to only certain programs.
I don't think the exact calories is 100% accurate because there are a few times (like I mentioned in my previous iwatch review) that my HR monitor inaccurately reading my heart rate, but then I take a moment to let it reread properly and then keep going.

I also wanted to share a really yummy and really healthy breakfast I had this morning. These are my favorite waffles. They are a good whole grain and fiber source. They also have different flavors, and a waffle that is high in protein. This one only has 3g of protein but has 23g of whole grains. I also had strawberries and blueberries measured out by my purple (fruit) beachbody portion container.
I would 100% recommend these waffles!! They are healthy but delicious even on their own. If you want to add a little syrup, I recommend honey. Adding dates on top is a good source of sweetness too. I add dates to my smoothies sometimes to add a little extra sweet flavor. However, I find eating blueberries and strawberries with the waffles adds enough sweetness I need and not to mention you can get part of your blueberry super food serving.
