Top Energy Drinks for Pre-Work
So lately I have been doing a lot of cardio because I am focusing on burning fat and once I lose enough fat that I am happy with I will focus more on lifting. Sometimes, like many others, I need that extra boost in order to do my work out and have a good workout. When you are doing cardio, a typical pre-work out powder is not a good option, they are meant more for lifting.
So I drink an energy drink to fill this purpose. When I am looking for an energy, I want no sugar, no crazy colors, and it helps if they have other benefits.
My favorite is called "Bang" by VPX and I love the blue raspberry. It tastes good, I get energy, and I do not experience a crash after. Bang has 357 mg caffeine (more than 3 cups of coffee), BCAA's, creatine, and B vitamins. Maybe one of the best parts is that it taste great without any sugar!
The second one I just tried (because they ran out of my blue raspberry Bang) is Celsius wild berry. So not only is this an energy drink, but Celsius claims that it burns 100+ calorie by just drinking it and taking place in some sort of activity. As a part of my review of course there is no way I can prove that, but I can say that they claim to have lots of data to back it up. They also have lots of different vitamins. I enjoyed the taste, could be a little bolder but it was still good. I don't feel as energized as with bang, but also feels lighter and like a more refreshing drink. I do not feel a crash with this drink either.
In the end, if you need more energy before a workout, both of this will be a good healthy option. About 10-12 calories with no sugar and other vitamins that help you stay energized for a long time.
